Pablo Osorio López began their career in 2020 as a Data Analyst Internship at Sistemas Inteligentes en Red, where they built optimization models for routing and logistics optimization in Python and created a Python routing package using OR-Tools and OSRM. Pablo then worked as a Software Consultant at Universidad EAFIT, where they designed and implemented a Python optimization algorithm that suggests products to customers based on historical sales data and parameters. In 2021, they were a Data Scientist at BIG BANG DATA, where they developed employee absenteeism ML models using Python and Azure that improved accuracy of absenteeism estimates by 4x, and built analytics dashboards for a USA-based analytics research firm using SQL, Power BI and Python. Pablo also held the role of Head of Data Science team EAFIT - Observatory of educational trajectories at the Colombian Ministry of National Education, where they developed SQL database architecture and ELT using MS SQL Server to store 97 million student records and enabled availability for analytics, and defined 23 KPIs to forecast education statistics nationally. In 2022, Pablo began working as a Data Engineer at Factored, where they retrieved data from REST APIs to generate automated reports using Python, AWS Lambda, Docker, AWS S3, AWS DynamoDB, AWS SNS, and AWS Step functions, designed and implemented a layered data lake using AWS S3 and the AWS Glue data catalog, implemented data processing jobs to move data between data lake zones using Python, AWS Glue, and Apache Spark, and developed a pipeline to extract data from both RDS and S3 to create a dimensional model in AWS Redshift using Python, Apache Airflow, AWS Glue, Apache Spark, DBT, and SQL. Pablo also held the role of Artificial Intelligence Consultant at VTSAS in 2020.

Pablo Osorio López obtained a degree in Ingeniería matemática from Universidad EAFIT between 2017 and 2021.
