Melanie Subratie is the Vice Chairman of Musson Jamaica Ltd.
She joined the group in 2002 as the first CEO of Productive Business Solutions and has been instrumental in supporting the development of our non food businesses. She is a Director of all Musson’s subsidiaries and affiliates. Mrs. Subratie is the Chairman of Transaction E Pins, Productive Business Solutions Jamaica Ltd, the audit committee of Seprod and the investment committee of General Accident Insurance ltd. She is the Deputy Chairman of T. Geddes Grant Distributors Ltd, Eppley Ltd. And General Accident Insurance Company Ltd.
Currently Melanie is responsible as Chairman and CEO of Stanley Motta Limited for the development of the Caribbean’s largest technology Park at 58 Half Way Tree in Kingston. She has lead Musson’s expansion into property development and is managing several new developments.
Mrs. Subratie is an active angel investor and is a board member of the First Angel group of investors. She has successfully invested in many startups in the region. She is Chairman of the Group’s two foundations where their work in coding has lead to 1000s of children being trained as well as teachers. She is Chairman of the Edna Manley School of the Arts and participates in many public sector initiatives.
Mrs. Subratie began her career in the United Kingdom in the Financial Services division of Deloitte and Touche and is a graduate of the London School of Economics holding a B.Sc.
