Balasaheb Nimse has extensive work experience in the software engineering and consulting field. Balasaheb is currently working as a Senior Software Engineer at Facelift since October 2022. Prior to that, they worked at Ratepay as a Software Engineer from March 2021 to October 2022, where they contributed to the development of a queuing and scheduler mechanism to enhance microservice resilience and introduced metrics for system health checks. Balasaheb also developed an ETL based microservice using Spring Boot for data migration.

Balasaheb worked at Oracle Financial Services Software Limited for a significant portion of their career. From January 2016 to March 2021, they held the position of Consulting Technical Manager. During this time, they designed and developed a two-factor authentication framework, implemented multilingual native mobile banking, and customized legacy internet banking services for third-party applications. Prior to this role, Balasaheb was a Principal Consultant from March 2011 to December 2015, where they conducted product walkthroughs, performed gap analysis, and supervised project phases.

Before joining Oracle Financial Services Software Limited, Balasaheb worked at HSBC as a Senior Software Engineer from November 2010 to March 2011. Balasaheb started their career as an Associate Consultant at Oracle Financial Services Software Limited in December 2006 and worked there until October 2010.

From 2004 to 2006, Balasaheb Nimse attended Savitribai Phule Pune University, where they pursued a Master of Science (M.Sc) degree in Computer Science.
