Henry Taunt is a Senior Protein Scientist at FabricNano, with a robust academic and professional background in molecular biology and biotechnology. Previously, Henry served as a Senior Postdoctoral Research Associate at Imperial College London, focusing on the porting of the far-red light responsive FaRLiP cluster into model organisms. Prior to that, a Postdoctoral Research Associate role at UCL involved designing novel molecular tools for the diatom Phaeodactylum tricornutum, contributing to successful edible vaccine production. A significant tenure at Algenuity included positions as Senior Strategist and Senior Research Scientist, where Henry was instrumental in shaping commercial strategies and advancing molecular tools for the algal biotech industry. Henry completed a PhD in Molecular Microbiology at UCL, following a BSc in Biochemistry with Molecular Biology and Biotechnology from the University of Bristol.
