Somit Mittal is a software development engineer with extensive experience in various sectors, particularly in building and optimizing software solutions. Currently serving as an SDE2 at fabric since March 2022, Somit is focused on enhancing cart, checkout, order management systems, and developing an in-house AI chatbot, achieving notable improvements in API latency. Prior experience includes leading a team at Spinny to develop custom CRM features and significantly reducing query times, as well as working at Paytm on the Order Management System and contributing to Samsung India's Radio Interface Layer. Additionally, Somit has interned in data science and machine learning, and taught data structures and algorithms at Newton School. Furthermore, Somit holds an integrated bachelor's and master's degree in Information Technology from ABV-Indian Institute of Information Technology and Management.
