Johnny Oh began their career as an intern at Oppenheimer & Co. and later worked as a SIG intern at Capital Group | American Funds. Johnny then joined JPMorgan Chase & Co.'s Corporate Analyst Development Program, where they rotated across the bank gaining exposure to process improvement, analytics, and risk & control projects, and later worked as a strategy associate under the Global Chief Information Officer on organizational redesign, operating model framework build-outs, and mobilizations of large-scale optimization programs.
After completing the program, Oh worked as a strategy and data analyst at PlaceIQ, where they used location data to understand consumer behavior, and later joined pymetrics first as a data science product manager and later as a senior product manager. At pymetrics, they launched several products, led teams across data science, people science, engineering, and design, and reduced unplanned development time for engineers by 35%.
From there, Oh joined Rapid7 as a machine learning engineer and product manager, where they developed a custom anomaly detection algorithm, submitted a patent for their novel machine learning pipeline, and led five engineers and data scientists to empower security analysts to investigate network intrusions through automation.
Most recently, Oh joined Fabric by Gerber Life as a senior product manager, beginning in 2023.
Johnny Oh earned a Masters of Business Analytics degree in Data Science from MIT Sloan School of Management from 2018 to 2019. Prior to that, they earned a B.A in Economics & Psychology from Swarthmore College from 2009 to 2013. During their time at Swarthmore, they also attended The Tuck School of Business at Dartmouth in 2011. Before their undergraduate studies, Johnny graduated from Kamiak High School in 2009.
