Sean McNaney began their work experience in 2013 as a Checkout Operator/Porter at Asda, a role they held until 2015. Following this, they joined ASM Chartered Accountants in 2015 as a Trainee Chartered Accountant. In 2017, they transitioned to Claremount Accountants, where they initially served as a Part Qualified Chartered Accountant until 2019. From 2019 onwards, Sean has been employed at F6S as a Chartered Accountant.

Sean McNaney attended St. Colm's High School in Draperstown from 2007 to 2012, where they completed their A-Levels. In 2012, they enrolled at Ulster University, where they obtained a Bachelor of Science degree in Accounting in 2015. From 2015 to 2019, Sean pursued further education in Accounting at Chartered Accountants Ireland.
