Tom Denslow is an accomplished engineering professional with a focus on process control and optimisation within the oil, gas, and petrochemicals industries. Currently serving as the Applications & Plant Computing Group Head at ExxonMobil since March 2013, Tom oversees engineering disciplines related to process control, online optimisation, and plant information. Prior experience includes roles as an RTO Technical Lead and Real Time Optimisation Engineer at ExxonMobil, as well as an APC Consultant at IPCOS, where Tom delivered technical consultancy across multiple regions. An early career at Chevron as an Undergraduate APC Engineer involved extensive hands-on work with advanced process control systems and support during major inspections. Tom Denslow holds an MEng in Chemical Engineering from the University of Bath, complemented by an overseas research placement in membrane technologies at UNSW and A-Level qualifications in core sciences and computing from Richard Huish College.
