Kamal Raj is an experienced projects manager currently working at Extrupet (Pty) Ltd since November 2023. Prior to this role, Kamal held the position of technical manager at Optimal from October 2018 to January 2023, where responsibilities included cultivating client partnerships and expanding market share in Southern Africa. Additional experience includes serving as a principal engineer at Optimal, leading teams to align with project objectives, and providing assurance for project deliverables. Previous roles include consulting engineer at Impulse International (Pty) Ltd, where Kamal developed maintenance plans for turbine systems, and application engineer for GE, focusing on turbine conversions and proposals. Earlier experience includes turbine design and retrofit work at Alstom and gas turbine reverse engineering at TurboTech.
