Nicole Shanahan is a seasoned professional with extensive experience in intellectual property and legal informatics. Currently serving as the President of the Bia-Echo Foundation since January 2020, Shanahan is also a CodeX Fellow at the Stanford Center for Legal Informatics, where work focuses on innovative solutions to legal and social challenges. As the Founder and CEO of ClearAccessIP from January 2013 to April 2020, Shanahan developed a specialized platform aimed at minimizing transaction costs in patent management. Academic contributions include roles as Editor of the High Technology Law Journal and Research Assistant at Santa Clara University, emphasizing patent law and economic impacts.
