Michael Votaw is a seasoned professional with extensive experience in network and security services. Currently serving as the Principal Federal Sales Engineer at Extreme Networks since October 2022, Michael focuses on providing exceptional consulting to clients while leveraging a decade of military NOC/SOC experience. Previous roles include President of the (ISC)² Chapter US Military Germany, where significant membership growth was achieved, and Network and Security Services Manager at Peraton, responsible for overseeing the security and monitoring of US Army networks in Europe. Additional expertise stems from roles at Northrop Grumman, Arcadia Secure IT, Enterasys Networks, and Computer Associates, showcasing a comprehensive background in network solutions, consulting, and technology management. Michael is pursuing a Bachelor of Science in Cyber Security and Information Assurance at Western Governors University.
