Debra Fine is the Chair and Founder of Fine Capital Partners, an investment firm established in 2004 that manages equity investments for university endowments, foundations, and family offices using a value methodology. Additionally, Debra holds the position of Chief Executive Officer and Founder at GrafTech International since October 2021, focusing on graphite electrodes and energy solutions. Debra serves as Chairperson of the Board for 8B Education Investments, which facilitates student lending for African students, and is a Board Member at the Center for Global Development and Simprints, both dedicated to global development and transparency. Debra also serves as Vice Chair for Save the Children US and Save the Children International, contributing to humanitarian efforts globally. In 2023, Debra joined the Guttmacher Institute Board, focusing on sexual and reproductive health. An Advisory Board member at Malengo, Debra promotes educational opportunities for Ugandan students. Debra is a Founding Member of Extraordinary Women on Boards, advocating for women in corporate governance. Debra holds an MBA from Harvard Business School and a BA from Yale University.
