Ira Benzion, MBA, J.D., CAPM, has over 20 years of work experience. In 1999, they began their career as an Attorney at McGuireWoods. In 2001, they were hired by Adelphia Communications as Director of Finance. In 2006, they worked as Manager of Financing Programs at the Montgomery County Department of Economic Development. From 2008 to 2011, they were Financial Manager at BAE Systems. Ira then moved to DRS Technologies, Inc. as Director of Program Finance from 2011 to 2013. From 2013 to 2016, they were Director of Finance at FUNA International Inc. In 2016, they began working at Aurora Flight Sciences Corporation as Finance Business Manager. From 2021 to 2022, they were Financial Planning and Analysis Manager and Program Control Manager at Avantus Federal. Currently, they are Director of Finance and Accounting at Expression Networks LLC.

Ira Benzion, MBA, J.D., CAPM has a comprehensive education history. Ira obtained a Master of Business Administration (M.B.A.) in Finance from the University of Maryland - Robert H. Smith School of Business, a Bachelor of Science (BS) in Finance from the same school, and a Bachelor of Science (BS) in Human Resources Management from the University of Maryland Global Campus. Ira then went on to obtain a Doctor of Law (J.D.) from Georgetown University Law Center. In 2015, Ira Benzion earned a Certificate in Entrepreneurship/Entrepreneurial Studies from the University of Florida - Warrington College of Business, a Certificate in Lean Six Sigma Green Belt from Florida Atlantic University - College of Business, and an Executive Certificate in Project Management from the same school. In 2016, they obtained a Certified Associate in Project Management (CAPM) from the Project Management Institute and is currently working towards a Certified Internal Auditor from the Institute of Internal Auditors.
