Gene Rider is a Principal at Exponent, Inc. since April 2016, where expertise is combined with quick-response capabilities across various technical areas. Prior to Exponent, Gene founded Rider Technologies in September 2013, providing consulting services and innovative technologies for the consumer goods industry. Gene also served as President of Intertek Consumer Goods North America from March 1988 to June 2013, and was the President and Founder of Intertek’s Risk Assessment & Management global business line. Additionally, Gene held a Vice President position at United States Testing Company from July 1970 to March 1988, managing environmental and health sciences divisions. Gene has educational credentials from Utah State University, where a Bachelor of Science in Fisheries-Environment Toxicology was earned, and completed EuroAsian Studies at INSEAD.
