Cristina Ionescu, MD, MS, is a resident physician at Woodhull Medical and Mental Health Center since June 2017, with prior experience as a resident physician at Columbia University/Bassett Healthcare Network from 2011 to 2015. Ionescu has also contributed to medical research as an associate at The Expert Institute since 2015 and held various research and teaching assistant positions at esteemed institutions including NYU Langone Medical Center, Mount Sinai Health System, and Cornell University. Educational qualifications include a Doctor of Medicine from The University of Toledo, a Master’s Degree from Columbia University Vagelos College of Physicians and Surgeons, and a Bachelor’s Degree from Cornell University. Ionescu completed secondary education at Stuyvesant High School.
