Marcia Melendez is a licensed realtor at eXp Realty since January 2016, specializing in negotiations for home sellers, buyers, and investors in Brooklyn and southeast Queens. In addition to real estate, Melendez has held leadership positions, including Vice Chairperson of the Bedstuy Gateway Business Improvement District and Vice President of Membership at Toastmasters International. As the co-founder and CEO of Flowerworks Florist & Landscape Contractor from 1982 until 2017, Melendez managed a successful business providing floral decorations for various clients. Melendez has also been a board member at the Caribbean American Chamber of Commerce & Industry and served as Assistant Manager for the Mayor's Office of Black & Hispanic Affairs, representing the Caribbean community in New York City. Early career experience includes working as an Assistant Planning Engineer at AT&T. Melendez holds a Master of Arts in Political Science from Brooklyn College.
