Tiago Albano is an experienced professional in the bioprocess engineering field, currently serving as Development Technical Lead and previously as Senior Bioprocess Engineer at Exothera since May 2020, where responsibilities include designing innovative downstream processes for gene therapies and developing scalable, cost-effective cGMP compliant platforms for viral vector production. Prior to Exothera, Tiago worked at UNIVERCELLS from July 2016 to May 2020 as a Bioprocess Engineer, focusing on purification process development for various biologics and integrating advanced technologies. Tiago's career began as a Junior Process Engineer at Procter & Gamble in early 2016, contributing to R&D in formula design and stability studies. Educational background includes an Integrated Master Degree in Biological Engineering from Instituto Superior Técnico, completed in 2014.
