Farouk Laimeur is an experienced professional in the field of transportation and mobility, currently serving as a Conseiller in Nouvelles Mobilités at Exo – Réseau de transport métropolitain since January 2019. Their role encompasses product management for on-demand transport, leading multidisciplinary teams for experimentation, establishing guidelines for implementing sustainable transport solutions, and developing a five-year deployment plan. Laimeur has also worked on optimizing transport networks, establishing service norms, and studying the potential for demand-responsive transportation and bike-sharing systems. Previously, Laimeur served as President at JPM/YPT Montréal, and worked with CSched and OuiShare, gaining expertise in transport planning and mobility project development. With a Master's degree in Civil Engineering specializing in Transport from Polytechnique Montréal, Laimeur combines technical knowledge with practical experience in research and project management across various transportation domains.
