Daniela Simona Bobocea has a diverse and extensive work experience in the banking and IT industry. Daniela Simona started their career in 1988 as an Analyst-programmer at Computer Science Research Institute (ITC). Daniela Simona then worked at Banca Agricola SA as a Banking Counsellor in the International Directorate. In 1998, they joined Unicredit where they held various positions, including Main Programmer and Head of Department in the IT Division.

In 2003, Bobocea joined Alpha Bank as the Head of Department in the Audit Division. Daniela Simona later moved to Bancpost in 2006, where they served as the Head of IS Audit Division. In 2008, they joined Eurobank EFG as the Director of Information Systems, Security & Digital Banking Audit Division.

Bobocea's career also includes roles at EximBank, where they currently serve as the Head of Governance and Project Management since January 2023. Previously, they were the Digital Tribe Lead and the Head of Project Management at EximBank Group from 2018 to 2023.

In addition to their work in banking, Bobocea has been actively involved in professional organizations. Daniela Simona is a member of ISACA Romania, Romanian Chapter since 2003 and has been a member of Asociatia Romana a Bancilor, serving in the IT&C Security Commission and the Digital Agenda Working Group since 2004.

Daniela Simona Bobocea has a diverse education history. Daniela Simona holds a Master of Science degree in Computer Science from the University POLITEHNICA of Bucharest, which they obtained from 1987 to 1993. In 2004, they completed their MBA with a major in Finance from HEC MontrĆ©al. Additionally, they earned a foundation degree in Project Management from The Open University in 2004-2005. Continuing their education, Daniela obtained a certificate in Management from Harvard Business School Online in 2011-2012. Daniela Simona has also received multiple certifications, including Certified Data Privacy Solutions Engineerā„¢ (CDPSEā„¢) from ISACA in 2021, Certified Professional in Design Thinking from SkillFront in 2020, Scrum Master Certified (SMC) from the International Scrum Instituteā„¢ in 2019, Certified Data Protection Officer from PECB in 2018, and several others. In 2009 and 2010, they obtained the Certified in the Governance of Enterprise ITĀ® (CGEIT) and Certified in Risk and Information Systems Controlā„¢ (CRISC) certifications, respectively, both from ISACA. Daniela Simona also holds a PMP (APMR-IPMA) certification from CODECS in 2005 and a Certified Information Systems Auditor (CISA) certification from ISACA in 2003. Furthermore, Daniela obtained a Microsoft Certified Professional (MCP) certification in 2000.
