Laura S. is an experienced extraction specialist and consultant with a diverse background in the cannabis industry and forensic science. At Rhize, from March 2022 to May 2023, Laura focused on extraction processes. Prior roles at Tweed Inc. included Operations Manager for extraction, where responsibilities encompassed implementing process improvements and validating new equipment, and Extraction Manager, overseeing the largest cannabis producer's extraction department. Additionally, Laura served as Extraction Supervisor and Extraction Technician, training team members and ensuring product quality. Earlier experience at Dynacare as a Certifying Scientist and Forensic Technologist highlighted Laura's commitment to accuracy and efficiency in laboratory settings. Laura holds dual degrees from Carleton University: a Bachelor of Science Honours in Integrated Science specializing in Forensic Science, and a Bachelor of Arts Honours in Criminology and Criminal Justice specializing in Psychology.
