Rajat Jain currently leads Neva Garments Ltd, a leader in Thermal wear in India for several years as its Executive Vice Chairman of the Board. He has come into the company to help professionalize the management, build a stronger team, drive sales and distribution, scale up the operations, build value in the brand and lead it to an eventual strategic transaction in the rapidly growing Indian branded consumer apparel market.
Rajat is also a Founder Director in his own entrepreneurial venture in the startup incubation space called PadUp Ventures focusing on providing startup advisory services to early stage tech and digital companies in India.
He is a Non-Executive Independent Director on the Boards of Times Innovative Media (TIM), a Bennet Colman (Times of India) Group Company and TIM Delhi Airport Advertising (TIMDAA), a JV between TIM and the GMR group. He was also, till recently, a Non-Executive Director on the Board of Xerox India and its Managing Director.
Previously, Rajat was the Chairman and Managing Director of the Board of Mobile2win a leading Mobile Value Added Services provider in India, which he built and invested in alongside a group of venture capital investors and merged it later with a larger industry player.
Additionally, he has been actively engaged in the development and restoration of the Braj Region, the Land of Lord Krishna , and has been a long time Trustee of The Braj Foundation, a āNot for Profitā NGO, founded in 2005. He is also on the Advisory Boards of E&H Foundation, and NGO focused on education for the underprivileged in Uttar Pradesh, as well as Fortune Institute of International Business (FIIB), a well-established MBA school in NCR.
In his earlier corporate career of two decades until 2007, prior to M2W, he was a Global SVP and the Managing Director of Walt Disney India. Prior to Disney, Rajat built out Sony MAX, a leading cricket and movies TV network of the Sony Corporation. Rajat has also held senior management positions with the Essel Group, Modi Telstra, Benckiser and Hindustan Lever.
