Nga Binet is a data scientist currently working at EXCO since October 2022, specializing in big data analytics to derive actionable insights and improve data quality. Previously, Nga founded Firgun Consulting, focusing on popularizing technical concepts and managing sustainable train line projects in Southeast Asia. Nga's academic background includes a PhD candidacy at the Faculty of Geo-Information Science and Earth Observation (ITC) of the University of Twente, where research focused on climate change and sustainable coffee production. Experience at the World Bank Group involved applying data science for policy recommendations in urban tech startups and analyzing spatial poverty correlations for sustainable development goals. Additional roles included research and analytical positions at various organizations, including the United Nations and Climate Economics Chair, along with a solid educational foundation in economics, environmental sciences, and mathematics from institutions such as École Polytechnique and Bucknell University.
