Oliver Thompson is a multifaceted professional with extensive experience in education and media. Currently serving as a long-term occasional teacher for grade seven at DA Morrison Middle School and as a teacher at Upper Canada College and the University of Toronto Schools, Oliver has also worked as a senior writer and associate producer for CBC/Radio-Canada since 2019, contributing to various digital content and radio programs. Previous roles include producing a documentary for CBC Radio's Ideas programme and working as a freelance writer for Exclaim! Media. Oliver's educational background includes a Master’s in Junior High/Intermediate/Middle School Education from the University of Toronto, a Master’s in English Literature & American Studies from the University of Oxford, and numerous other qualifications in English literature and writing.
