Alexis Garcia is a dedicated mental health professional with extensive experience in therapeutic services and case management. Currently serving as a QA at Exceptional Children's Foundation since October 2022, Alexis previously worked as a Mental Health Therapist at St. Joseph Center and held the position of Mental Health Specialist, providing therapy and case management for youth. Additional roles include experience as a Client Attendant at The People Concern, Social Work Interns at both Santa Monica-Malibu Unified School District and Harbor UCLA Medical Center, and as an Overnight Supervisor at ROOTS Young Adult Shelter, where advocacy for youth experiencing homelessness was a focus. Alexis holds a Master of Social Work (MSW) from UCLA and a Bachelor's degree in Social Work from the University of Washington.
