Ty Howard, PMP, CISSP, currently serves as an Adjunct Professor at Grand Canyon University and Excelsior University, teaching a variety of business and technology courses. Ty held leadership roles including Chief Information Officer for the City of Goodyear and Assistant Chief Information Officer/CISO for the City of Mesa, where strategic IT initiatives and enterprise security were developed and implemented. Earlier experience includes serving as Information Security Officer for Gilbert, Arizona, and Cyber Security Manager at Casino Arizona. Ty has also instructed project management courses at Thunderbird School of Global Management and Keller Graduate School of Management. Educational credentials include a Master of Science in Instructional Technology, a Master of Public Administration, and a Bachelor's degree in Criminal Justice, supplemented by various professional certifications.
