Robert Olsen possesses extensive experience in marine engineering and project management, currently serving as the Director of Projects at Excelerate Energy since July 2009, where responsibilities involve identifying project opportunities and executing analytics between client needs and company capabilities. Prior to this role, Robert held various positions within SBM Atlantia, including Lead Marine System Engineer, focusing on system design and conversions for offshore vessels. Additional experience includes serving as a naval officer in the U.S. Navy Reserve, roles at ABB Lummus Global and Ocean Design Associates in engineering capacities, and a foundational experience as a Marine Engineering Trainee at Noble Drilling. Robert is an alumnus of the United States Merchant Marine Academy, earning a degree in Marine Engineering.
