Carlyle Flanagan serves as the Dean of Student Supports and a Learning Specialist at Excel Academy Charter Schools since August 2017. Prior experience includes roles as a Special Education Teacher at The New England Center for Children from July 2013 to June 2017 and as a Special Education Teacher at Massachusetts General Hospital for a brief period in 2013. Expertise lies in providing therapy and education for children with autism, emphasizing behavioral and emotional management as well as social thinking skills. Carlyle completed a Master of Science in Severe Special Needs at Simmons College Graduate Studies and holds a Bachelor of Arts in Psychology and Education from Gettysburg College.
