Jacob Samenuk is an undergraduate researcher at Auburn University, focused on the effects of acute heat stress on Pinfish populations. Jacob has experience assisting PhD candidates with similar studies and has contributed to both physiological and genetic analyses. Jacob has held positions in various organizations, including Labcorp, where responsibilities included preparing specimens in the Hematology department, and Auburn University's E.W. Shell Fisheries, focusing on fish care and disease management. A member of Phi Sigma Pi National Honor Fraternity, Jacob has also worked as a sales associate at Aquarium Adventure Superstore, selling and caring for aquatic life. Jacob is pursuing a Bachelor of Science in Genetics and Aquaculture, complemented by a minor in Business Administration.
