Alfonso Pozzan is a seasoned professional in the field of computational chemistry and molecular discovery, currently serving as Vice President of Molecular Architects and Global Molecular Discovery at Evotec since April 2020. Prior to this role, Alfonso held various leadership positions at Aptuit, an Evotec Company, from July 2010 to April 2020, where responsibilities included Senior Manager of Computational Chemistry & Cheminformatics. Alfonso's career at GlaxoSmithKline began in 2003, progressing from Investigator to Manager/Principal Scientific Investigator in Computational Chemistry until 2010. Earlier, Alfonso contributed to Glaxo and GlaxoWellcome as a Scientist and Senior Scientist from 1995 to 2003. Educational credentials include a Ph.D. in Pharmaceutical Chemistry and an M.Sc. in Pharmaceutical Sciences and Technology, both obtained from Università degli Studi di Padova, complemented by a Diploma in Metallurgy from ITIS Alessandro Rossi.
