Ed Gabbitas has a diverse work experience in the sustainability and environmental consultancy industry. Ed founded and served as the Executive Director of EVORA, a pan-European sustainability consultancy focused on the commercial real estate sector. During their time at EVORA, Ed successfully positioned sustainability as a valuable management tool in the property industry. Prior to founding EVORA, Ed worked as a Senior Sustainability Consultant at DTZ/Cushman & Wakefield, where they led a national sustainability consultancy team and helped clients comply with legislation and implement cost and carbon-saving initiatives. Ed also held positions as a Senior Environmental Consultant at Schofield Lothian and as an Environmental Consultant at Business Eco. Ed started their career at Surrey County Council, where they worked as a Project Support. Ed has extensive experience and expertise in sustainability and environmental consulting, specifically in the commercial real estate sector.
Ed Gabbitas graduated from the University of Leeds in 2002 with a BA (hons) degree in Environmental Management. Ed has not pursued any additional degrees or fields of study at the University of Leeds or any other institution. In terms of certifications, Ed obtained the Chartered Energy Manager certification from the Energy Institute in July 2019. However, it is unclear whether they obtained the Chartered Environmentalist certification from the IEMA - Institute of Environmental Management and Assessment, as the obtained month and year are not specified.
