Barry Buternowsky is an experienced software and digital signal processing engineer with a career spanning over three decades. Currently serving as the SW Engineering Manager at Evolution Engineering since September 2013, Barry has a strong background in developing downhole telemetry systems, signal processing, and communication protocols from previous roles at Schlumberger and Extreme Engineering. Barry's career also includes significant contributions as a Systems Engineer at CSI Wireless, a DSP Manager at Percomm, and a DSP Engineer/Manager at Glenayre Technologies Ltd., where expertise in two-way paging infrastructure and receiver development was demonstrated. Barry holds a Master of Engineering in Electrical Engineering from The University of British Columbia and a Bachelor of Applied Science in Electrical/Computer Engineering from the University of Manitoba.
