Jeff Hall has a diverse range of work experience in the software engineering field. Jeff is currently working at Evisions Inc. as a Senior Software Engineer, where they serve as a System Architect, Lead Engineer, and mentor. Jeff'smain focus is developing key features for the Institutional Research Information System (IRIS), a cloud-based product for Higher Education clients.

Prior to their current role, Jeff worked as a Senior Consultant at ThotSpots Inc. in 2015, and as a Software Engineer at Lexipol from 2012 to 2014. Jeff also worked as a Software Consultant at Catalina Card Services, Inc. from 2011 to 2012.

Jeff's earlier experiences include working as a Senior Engineer I at Primary Innovations (a Cash America company) from 2007 to 2011, and as a Principal Enginner at Western Digital from 2005 to 2007. At Western Digital, they developed functional test scripts using a proprietary language to verify hard drive firmware.

Before that, Jeff worked as a Senior Software Engineer at IndX Software Corporation (a Siemens company) from 1999 to 2004. Jeff'srole involved developing software applications.

Additionally, they worked as a Senior Systems Analyst at Ingram Micro, Inc. from 1998 to 1999. Jeff developed proof-of-concept Java EJB applications to recommend application server replacements for the company's legacy mainframe-based ordering system.

Jeff also has experience as a Senior Software Engineer at Quantitative Data Systems from 1997 to 1998, and as a Staff Analyst at ARINC from 1995 to 1997. At ARINC, they developed an application to identify and resolve network device faults for the Iridium satellite phone service's ground control network. The application was written in C++.

Jeff Hall completed their B.S. degree in Information and Computer Science from UC Irvine from 1990 to 1995. In terms of additional certifications, they obtained the AWS Partner: Accreditation (Technical) from Amazon Web Services (AWS) in September 2022 and the MongoDB for Java Programmers certification from MongoDB, Inc. in September 2014. Furthermore, Jeff received certifications in Core Spring 3 from VMWare, Inc. in 2011 and as a Java 5 Programmer from Sun Microsystems, Inc. in 2007. Jeff also completed a certification in Embedded Systems Engineering from the University of California, Irvine in 2006. Lastly, Jeff achieved the AWS Certified Solutions Architect - Associate certification from Amazon Web Services (AWS) in December 2022 and the AWS Certified Developer - Associate certification from the same institution in December 2019.
