Nick van Wegen is a seasoned technology professional with extensive experience in engineering and platform management. Currently a Co-Founder at Evil8 and an Interim Engineering Manager at Albert Heijn, Nick previously served as Manager Platform Engineering and Platform Engineer at xxllnc, where responsibilities included building a self-service multi-tenant Kubernetes cluster and automating end-to-end testing for infrastructure changes. Nick's technical expertise encompasses AWS, Kubernetes, Terraform, and various cloud-native tools, along with programming skills in Python, Golang, and Bash. A former DevOps and Linux Engineer, Nick has a solid foundation in application management, having worked with NEP The Netherlands and Powerhouse. Educational credentials include a degree from Inholland University of Applied Sciences and a Level 4 qualification in ICT management from ROC Midden Nederland.
