Dr. Shayla Jackson Lee is an experienced veterinarian currently serving as a Relief Veterinarian at Evette and Roo since September and August 2024, respectively. Previously held the position of Associate Veterinarian at GoodVets and Banfield Pet Hospital from August 2023 to August 2024 and June 2021 to July 2023. Dr. Lee's education includes a Doctor of Veterinary Medicine from North Carolina State University (2017-2021) and a Bachelor’s Degree in Animal Sciences from North Carolina Agricultural and Technical State University (2013-2017). Notable early experience includes completing the Chester A. Gipson Internship Program at the USDA, as well as internships at Elanco in both Global Regulatory New Product Development and the Beef Business Unit. Additionally, prior roles include Supplemental Instructor in Chemistry and ER Veterinary Assistant, contributing to a well-rounded foundation in veterinary medicine.
