Kellen Heniford, PhD, currently serves as Principal Investigator for the US National Park Service since February 2023 and as a Consultant for Everytown for Gun Safety since December 2022. Previously, Kellen completed a Postdoctoral Fellowship at Penn State University from July 2021 to December 2022 and was a Graduate Student and Teaching Assistant at Columbia University from September 2015 to June 2021. Additionally, Kellen held the position of Predoctoral Fellow at the University of Pennsylvania from August 2019 to May 2021. Kellen earned a Doctor of Philosophy (PhD) in American History from Columbia University (2015-2021) and a Bachelor of Arts (BA) in History and African American Studies from Princeton University (2010-2014).
