Julie Matternas is an accomplished executive with extensive experience in fundraising, community engagement, and organizational leadership. Currently serving as Executive Director Foundation at EveryStep since January 2020, Julie previously held the role of Corporate Engagement Officer at United Way of Central Iowa, leading efforts with over 600 companies. Earlier roles include Campaign and Stewardship Manager at Dowling Catholic High School, where Julie managed a $27 million capital campaign, and Director of Advancement at Tuxedo Park School, where a significant increase in annual giving was achieved. Additional positions included Director of Development at Lake Forest Country Day School and Director of Alumni Relations at DePaul University. Julie began a career in community relations at Children's Memorial Hospital, emphasizing relationship-building with local residents. Educational qualifications include a BA in Communications from DePauw University and studies at Michigan State University.
