Hiran Del Castillo Rodríguez has been working in the software development field since 2008. Hiran started their career as an Ingeniero de desarrollo de software at Universidad de las Ciencias Informáticas, where they were responsible for developing the business layer for the "Acuerdo Cuba-Venezuela" in the Ministry of Popular Power for Energy and Oil. Hiran then moved on to become an Administrador de redes y sistemas at Tribunal Provincial de la Habana in 2009. In 2012, they became a Senior Engineer Software at Importadora Comercializadora Mayorista Caracol, where they were responsible for managing the IT department, purchasing equipment, optimizing processes and developing direct billing software. Hiran then worked as a Desarrollador e Instructor at Geosoft in 2015, as well as an Instructor at Instituto Ecuatoriano de Seguridad Social and Instituto Tecnológico Superior de la Policía Nacional. In 2016, they became an Analista Arquitecto y Desarrollador at Urbamapp and in 2018 they became an Ingeniero de desarrollo de software at AlturaSoluciones. Most recently, in 2019, they became a Technical Implementation Project Manager at EveryMundo.

Hiran Del Castillo Rodríguez attended the Universidad de las Ciencias Informáticas from 2004 to 2009, where they earned an Ingeniero en Ciencias Informáticas degree in the field of Ingeniería informática.
