Brayden Schmidt is a Project Management Intern at Evergy, tasked with designing, preparing, and coordinating construction on the distribution grid since December 2022. Prior experience includes serving as a Resident Assistant at Wichita State University, where oversight was provided for a residence hall of over 46 college students, and working as an umpire for the North Barber Recreation Commission, managing baseball fields. Additionally, Brayden operated a small side business as CEO, assisting clients with various tasks. Educational qualifications include dual Bachelor of Science degrees in Computer Science and Electrical and Electronics Engineering from Wichita State University, expected to be completed in 2025 and 2024, respectively, following graduation from Medicine Lodge Jr/Sr High School in 2020.
