Sue Merrigan

Vice President, Data & Interoperability at Evergreen Nephrology

Sue Merrigan has over 30 years of experience in various roles related to data management, analytics, and strategy. Sue is currently the Vice President of Data & Interoperability at Evergreen Nephrology since November 2022. Before that, they worked at Optum as the Vice President of Data & Analytics from 2019 to 2022, driving data strategy and delivery for UHG Optum Care's national and regional data programs. Prior to Optum, Sue served as the Vice President of Data Management & Analytics at DaVita Medical Group from 2015 to 2019.

From 2011 to 2015, they worked as a Principal Strategy Consultant at STRATEGIC BUSINESS INNOVATIONS, LLC, delivering consulting services and interim leadership in the areas of data management and analytics. Prior to that, Sue held leadership roles at Intermap Technologies, serving as the Senior Director of Product & Business Solutions from 2009 to 2011, Senior Director of Information Management from 2007 to 2009, and Director of Data Management from 2005 to 2007.

Before their tenure at Intermap Technologies, Sue worked as a Principal Consultant at Autumn Technologies from 1999 to 2005. Sue also gained experience at Oracle Corporation as a Principal Consultant from 1997 to 1998, UGC Consulting as a Database Consultant from 1995 to 1997, Harris Corporation as a Database Development Consultant from 1992 to 1995, and EG&G Technical Services Kennedy Space Center as a Database Developer from 1988 to 1992. Throughout their career, Sue has consistently focused on maximizing operations and developing data strategies to provide a competitive advantage.

Sue Merrigan completed their education in a chronological order, starting with receiving a Bachelor of Science (BS) degree in Computer Information Systems from Rollins College between the years 1985 and 1988. Sue then pursued further education and obtained an MBA degree in Business Administration, specializing in IT Management from Florida Institute of Technology from 1990 to 1992. Finally, in 2008, Sue attended the Executive Program at Northwestern University - Kellogg School of Management to enhance their skill set.
