Tomer Cohen has extensive experience in the field of cloud infrastructure and DevOps. Tomer is currently working as the Head of Cloud Infrastructure at EverC since January 2023. In this role, they are responsible for overseeing the cloud infrastructure of the company.
Prior to their current role, Tomer worked at EverC as the DevOps Team Lead from June 2021 to January 2023. As a Principal engineer, they led a team located in Israel and Ukraine while also being involved in hands-on development work. Tomer was responsible for preparing annual budget plans for the platform team.
Before joining EverC, Tomer worked at AT&T. From June 2018 to February 2020, they served as a DevOps Engineer, where they designed, implemented, and managed the infrastructure over AWS and Azure clouds. Tomer also wrote AWS Cloudformation stacks for resource management and was responsible for the dev, test, staging, and production environments.
At AT&T, Tomer also worked as a Full Stack Developer from November 2016 to May 2018. Tomer was involved in FE and BE development using Angular and Django. Tomer also designed and implemented automation infrastructure with an emphasis on low running times.
Tomer started their career at the Israel Defense Forces as an IT System Manager. From August 2012 to August 2015, they handled the installation, administration, and ongoing management of complex server farms. Tomer also deployed and configured Active Directory and Exchange services and operated virtualized servers.
Overall, Tomer Cohen has a strong background in cloud infrastructure, DevOps, and IT system management, with experience in leading teams and handling complex projects.
Tomer Cohen completed their Bachelor of Science degree in Computer Science from the Holon Institute of Technology from 2017 to 2020.
