R. Steven McDonald has a diverse work experience spanning multiple companies and roles. R. Steven currently serves as the Chief Medical Information/Informatics Officer at Eventus WholeHealth since June 2023. Prior to this, they worked as the Director of Clinical Informatics and then as the Chief Medical Director of the ALF Division at Eventus WholeHealth from April 2021 to June 2023. Before joining Eventus WholeHealth, they had various roles at different organizations, including Hospitalist at Moonlighting Solutions, LLC from 2010 onwards, Staff Physician at High Point Regional Health from January 2015 to August 2017, and Chief Medical Informatics Officer at High Point Regional Health/UNC Healthcare from January 2015 to November 2016. R. Steven served as the Medical Director of Clinical Informatics at Florida Hospital Medical Group from January 2014 to November 2014. Prior to that, they held positions such as EMR Physician Champion and Medical Director Telemedicine at Wake Forest Baptist Health from July 2010 to February 2013 and July 2010 to October 2012, respectively. R. Steven was also the Hospitalist Medical Director at In Compass Health Inc from June 2008 to June 2010 and the Owner/President of Cranbrook Primary Care from 2002 to 2007. With their extensive experience in medical informatics and clinical leadership, R. Steven McDonald has demonstrated their expertise in various healthcare settings.
R. Steven McDonald obtained their Bachelor's degree in Physiology, General from Michigan State University. Later, they attended the Michigan State University College of Osteopathic Medicine and earned their DO degree in Osteopathic Medicine. R. Steven further pursued their education at Northwestern University, where they completed their Master of Science in Medical Informatics in the field of Medical Informatics.
