Deshpande's expertise encompasses machine learning applications in binaural modeling, computational auditory scene analysis, and various audio processing algorithms. Educational qualifications include a Doctor of Philosophy in Architectural Sciences with a focus on Architectural Acoustics from Rensselaer Polytechnic Institute, alongside a Master of Science and a Bachelor of Science in Electrical Engineering with a minor in Electronic Arts. Deshpande has actively contributed to the development of real-time audio applications, psychoacoustical data analysis, and creative programming for artistic installations.
