Brittany Garrett began their career in 2011 as a Project Assistant at the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign. Brittany then worked as a Human Resource Administrative Specialist at the University of Minnesota College of Pharmacy in 2012. From 2014 to 2017, Brittany served as the Conaway Achievement Project - Project Coordinator at Columbia College Chicago. In 2019, they started their role as a Digital Content & Graphics Designer, which lasted until 2021. During this time, they also attended the Nashville Software School and became a Full Stack Software Developer from 2021 to 2022. Brittany is currently working as a Software Engineer Intern with Marketing Automation at Eventbrite and was recently promoted to the position of Software Engineer I.

Brittany Garrett obtained a certificate in Software Engineering and Development from Nashville Software School from 2021 to 2022. Prior to that, they pursued a Bachelor of Science (B.S.) degree in Public Health / Community Health from the University of Illinois Urbana-Champaign, which they completed between 2006 and 2010. Brittany's secondary education took place at Holy Trinity High School in Chicago from 2002 to 2006.
