Sophie Raphael is currently a Research Assistant at the Center for Chronic Disease Research and Policy, where responsibilities include contributing to the NSF-funded iREACT study, focusing on developing a multimodal debriefing system for clinicians. In addition, Sophie works as an Emergency Medical Technician for Event Medical Solutions and as a Clinical Research Assistant at Michigan Medicine. Previous experience includes serving as a Student Intern at Asociación AFADEMA, an intern at UChicago Medicine's Kovler Diabetes Center, a soccer coach at Playpen Sports Academy, and a camp counselor at YMCA Camp Minikani. Sophie is pursuing a Bachelor of Science in Biomolecular Science and a minor in Public Policy at the University of Michigan, with an expected graduation in May 2025, following a high school diploma from the University of Chicago Laboratory Schools.
