Laurens Uppelschoten currently serves as a Stagiair risicobeheersing at Veiligheidsregio Gooi en Vechtstreek, focusing on nature fire management, and as a Brandwacht for Event Medical Service B.V. Additional roles include Manschap at Veiligheidsregio Utrecht and Jeugdleider at Jeugdbrandweer Nederland, along with being the owner of Uppel Media since June 2020. Laurens has also worked as a ski instructor and held leadership positions in Scouting Batenstein Vianen. Previous experience includes a role as a magazijnmedewerker at Visdeal and a stagiair, conducting research for the OTClog at the Ministerie van Defensie. Academically, Laurens is pursuing a Bachelor's degree in Integrale Veiligheidskunde at HU University of Applied Sciences Utrecht, having completed an Mbo4 in Media and Communicatie at Nimeto Utrecht and attained various certifications, including EHBO and Lifesaver 3.
