Derek Rowinski is an experienced business development executive specializing in event planning and sales, currently with Evanta, a Gartner Company, since November 2016. With a focus on enhancing networking opportunities and best practices within the Atlanta HR community, Derek has held various roles at Evanta, including Senior Program Manager and Program Manager. Prior to Evanta, Derek worked as a Talent Acquisition IT Sourcer/Recruiter for The Standard and Nike, utilizing tools like LinkedIn Recruiter and Taleo. Earlier experience includes serving as a Technical Recruiter at Apex Systems, specifically staffing for firms such as Microsoft and Kaiser Permanente, as well as working as a wildland firefighter with CSR Enterprises. Derek holds a Bachelor of Arts in Psychology from the University of Oregon.
