Melina Kersten started their work experience in 2016 as a Redaktionspraktikant at ENERGY Bremen. In 2019, they worked as a Redaktionspraktikant and Freier Autor at Motor Presse Stuttgart GmbH & Co. KG. In 2022, they became a Content Marketing Managerin at Traum-Ferienwohnungen GmbH, and in 2023, they joined Eurowings Digital as a Content Editor.

Melina Kersten completed their Bachelor of Arts degree in Kommunikation und Mediastudien at the University of Bremen from 2014 to 2018. Following this, they pursued a Master of Arts degree in Journalismus at the University of Hamburg from 2018 to 2022.
