Lewis Benton is the Head of Platform Engineering at Eurowings Digital. Prior to this role, Lewis worked as a DevOps at E.ON Energy Markets GmbH, where Lewis was responsible for the infrastructure and operations of mission-critical systems. Lewis also held the position of IT Infrastructure Manager at Sugar Foods Corporation, where Lewis designed and implemented a virtual environment using the VMWare ESXi platform. With experience as a Senior Network Architect at CCC Information Services, Lewis was responsible for maintaining a 24/7 production environment for the auto insurance industry. Lewis has a background in network engineering and IT management, with roles such as Director of Information Technology at RadixOne and Network Engineering Manager at Vista Information Technologies. Lewis has a BA in German from California Lutheran University and began their career there as a Computer Technician/Intern providing end-user support for a multi-platform network.
