Jan van den Born has extensive experience in analytical chemistry and laboratory operations, with a career spanning over three decades. Currently serving as a Liquids Operator at Eurotrol since October 2021, Jan previously held positions at Wienerberger Nederland as a Laborant and at AgroCares as a Junior Analist Chemie, where responsibilities included sample preparation and analysis of soil samples using NIR, MIR, and XRF techniques. Prior to these roles, Jan worked as an Operator Farmacie at Farmaceutisch Analytisch Laboratorium, focusing on precise weighing and processing of pharmaceutical materials. With earlier experience as an Adjunct analist at BLGG, where Jan handled soil and crop sample analysis using various techniques, and as an Analyst at KEMA Arnhem, Jan's foundation in analytical methods was further developed during an internship at AkzoNobel, determining water content in kerosene. Jan holds a diploma in Analytical Chemistry from OLAN and completed foundational education at Het Anker.
