Maria Petridou is a seasoned professional in asylum and data management with extensive experience in various organizations focused on refugee assistance. Currently serving as a Reception/Asylum Statistics Expert at the European Union Agency for Asylum since June 2022, Maria previously held multiple roles at UNHCR, including Data Management Assistant and Field Assistant CBI, from January 2017 to December 2021. Maria also served as an Associate Asylum Registration Expert at the International Catholic Migration Commission in 2016 and had a brief tenure as a Pre-registration Assistant at UNHCR in mid-2016. Maria Petridou holds a degree from the University of Piraeus.
